How To Diagnos CIPA?
The diagnosis of Congenital Insensitivity to
Pain with Anhidrosis (CIPA)
is made clinically based on presence of the following:

after eruption of the first teeth in infants and children.
- Repeated traumatic injuries including bruising,
bone fractures and painless joint dislocations in older individuals.
- Anhidrosis (absence of sweating), manifest as
recurrent febrile episodes beginning in early infancy.
- Intellectual disability.
