Can CIPA Be Treated?

There is no treatment for CIPA. Attention to injuries to prevent infection and worsening is necessary.
Approximately 20% of people with CIPA die of hyperthermia by age 3.

To avoid scalded,sprained and bone fractures.
Monitor body temperature of at-risk
infants during the neonatal period.
To avoid hyperpyrexia.
